I was born and raised in Miami, FL and it holds a very special place in my heart. When I remodeled my kitchen in Lake Oswego, OR, I wanted to have some artwork that would remind me of my hometown and make me smile every day. I created a graphic and colorful triptych incorporating maps of Miami and my old stomping grounds. I also used handmade paper resembling beach sand to depict the Miami telephone area code - 3-0-5. This is also insightful to me as my new area code is 5-0-3...a very happy coincidence! It was named after the Miley Cyrus song, “Party in the USA” - a favorite of my children.
